Giovanna Bersola

Italian singer, born in Catania July 20, 1972, is one of the most popular voices of Eurodance in the 1990's. Unfortunately mostly uncredited for various commercial/esthetic reasons, replaced by lipsyncing models on stage and videos. Aka [a=Jenny B], after attending the [i]Professional Music Center[/i] Milan, began working for several major projects. Voice of several producers of dance music and one of most famous songs is reminiscent of hits of the 90s like [i]The Rhythm of the Night[/i] and [i]The Summer Is Magic[/i].
In the same period, she works with [a=Zucchero] as vocalist in the [i]"Urlo Tour"[/i], for the recording of [i]Spirito Divino[/i] album and in the video [i]Pelo Nell'Uovo[/i] winning the [i]World Grammy Award 1993[/i]. She's also with [a=Ligabue] in [i]Happy Birthday Elvis[/i], with [a=Adriano Celentano], with [a=Gemelli Diversi] and [a=Piotta]. In 1994 entered the ranks of the [i]Funky Company Tendency Of Love[/i] (1995) and [i]Everytime[/i] (1997). In 2000 participated at the [i]Sanremo Festival[/i] with [i]Semplice Sai/i], written by herself. Her voice, especially deep, vibrant, allows the track to win the [i]Mia Martini's Critics Award[/i] ex aequo with [a=Tiromancino] and [a=Riccardo Sinigallia]. The same year she released the 1st solo album [i]Like a Dream[/i] getting the deserved success. In 2001 she took part again at the Italian Song Festival, finishing in 6th place. Since 2004benters in the TV world becoming lead vocalist of M° [a=Roberto Pregadio] Orchestra in the program [i]"La Corrida"[/i], hosted by [a=Jerry Scotti].
